Napcon Day One: Lasalle 28mm

Pic dump time. We a Waterloo inspired game where the British had to defended two road exits while the Prussians raced to the rescue. In hindsight the British should of deployed after the French as the French could see where the all the British units were and could mass their attacks were they were strong. Tomorrow: Vitoria

  1. Great photos LM! Although I don't remember a large river at Waterloo...?! :) BTW - you really need to enable lightbox mate - it's built in with blogger AFAIK and easy to use and will make viewing your images so much easier!! All you shoudl need to do is use the following rel="lightbox" command (i.e. add lightbox to the 'rel' field in the advanced image properties of each image)... Then you should get a nice javascript pop up... Keep up the fantastic work with Lasalle as always... John (Wargaming.info)

  2. It was there to hide the horrible join between the two different coloured base cloths, it's my secret shame I will just have to live with.

  3. I figured something like that but couldn't resist a dig... ;) Looks like the Prussians were arriving at Waterloo from across Spain and had to cross the Danube on the way?! ;) Seriously though, some very nice looking troops bounding around (in addition to your Prussians of course)... Incidentally how'd the 95th Rifles (any of the battalions) get to be a large unit (6-bases) at Waterloo - looks a bit shonky to me...? Or is it nominally the 2nd & 3rd Btns converged (3rd 'Light' Brigade)? I'd have treated them as 2 small battalions myself... :) John (Wargaming.info)
